Päivitys tuo Dol Guldur -linnoitukseen neljä Skirmish-tehtävää, jotka ovat pelattavissa uudella 12 hengen pelimoodilla. Näiden lisäksi edessä ovat Dephts of Nûrz Ghâshu -tehtävä sekä maksimikokemustason nosto tasoon 65.

Lord of the Rings Onlinen Volume III: Allies of the King - Book 1: Oath of the Rangers -päivityksen ilmestyy virallisen tiedon mukaan piakkoin.
