Menu Related Changes
replay scenario now works medalls distribution changed and fixed japan check deleted, ie. will run on japanese windows campaign skips now unlimited, ie. you can skip scenarios as long as you want (with negative score though) joystick button reassignment fixed if you turn off tutorials the help bubbles now dont show either (ShowTutorial=OFF) Realism Panel is now in the main menu and effects Instant Action, Single Scenario and Campaign Note: Campaign still features the same realism panel in the ADC screen Support for Custom Campaign Mods installed. You need to turn those on in the pe_menusystem.ini with setting the variable Enable_Custom_Campaigns to 1. Questions how custom campaigns can be implemented should be asked in the mod forum please (instructions to follow) When turning off the intro it should turn off the historical videos as well (Play_intro=no) AI related changes
Wingman now face the enemy when left alone. If there is no enemy in sight they default to the players facing Wingman turning back to enemy slightly better Repair time for tracks and wheels reduced so that they can be repaired during a scenario Psw222 no longer indestructable Soft Vehicles (Trucks) and Halftrucks are now more fragile for destruction Fixed the bug where the AI spotting realism setting made the AI vehicles doing nothing Game related changes
Message window will stay off when turned off via Ctrl-T Esc Menu changed: menu items are no longer shown when not active (example: replay scenario in instant action etc.) Allied Vehicles get optional zoom (pre zoom, ie. either zoom or standard, not both) Physics adapted: bushes/infantry no longer stop tank as much as they used to Damage Modell: changed some parameters to help the "Sherman kills Tiger" problem Artillery modell changed: kills now dependend on roof armor and wether or not you are unbuttoned When you die you can switch to your wingman You can manually switch to your wingman by selecting it and pressing Ctrl-J (Jump) Colliding with Trees or Infantry no longer slows down your tank If a wingman is destroyed his external view is no longer acessable Assault Guns are now playable fully with mods from our fans Collision Detection when driving backwards implemented Multiplayer changes
You can switch to your wingmans tanks with Ctrl-J External View disabled when a tank is destroyed to prevent "cheating" Camera views limited in MP (height...no flying scouts anymore) Damage to houses etc. is now send to clients as well Mousetank and Textwindow can be turned off permanently in MP as well You can now name your session (16 letters max) to easily identify multiple sessions in one window Modified the network design to fully use async DirectPlay now which should enhance stability IMPORTANT to Kali users: the default Panzer Elite setting in Kali is BROKEN.
